Little update & New Bag Obessession

I am sorry for being MIA recently. I was dealing with some issues in early August so I really was not in the mood for blogging most of the time. Blogging was actually the last thing on my mind. My mom also took the entire week off last week to spend time with me because all summer my parents have been workaholics. Therefore, I took her out during the week, and just spent some nice quality time together.

I haven't been buying much. I bought things here and there, but I have been trying to save up money to purchase necessities for the upcoming school year. I haven't bought any makeup in awhile. I'm in one of those off periods where I just don't feel I need anything else makeup related at the moment. Perhaps skincare, but I haven't gotten around to trying any new skincare products. I'm going to be making another iMomoko haul soon though because I need to restock my Beautymaker Aquamarine Eye Serum! I'm almost done with my current bottle! How exciting :) I always get so excited when I finish a product because I rarely do.

In other news, I guess the reason why I haven't been buying much makeup is because all my attention has went to Rebecca Minkoff handbags. I've been spending all my time stalking The Purse Forum to learn more about the bags. Many of you probably have no idea what I am talking about because not many know about Rebecca Minkoff. She's a fairly new designer that emerged in the recent years. She's known for her handbags, but she also designs great clothes. Her handbags can be seen on a handful of celebrities and on the show we all know and love, Gossip Girl. I mean come on, who does not love the stuff the girls on the show get to sport. And for the Hills fans, LC and Whitney can be seen sporting RM bags in many paparazzi pictures.

These are just examples. There are many other celebrities that you can find such as Amanda Bynes, Hayden Panettiere, Hilary Duff, Ashley Greene, etc. carrying RM bags. There are also such a large variety of leathers and color combos for Rebecca Minkoff bags that almost no bag is completely the same. That is what I love about them. Rebecca Minkoff is not a premium brand like LV or Chanel, but it is definitely working its way up. The price range for RM bags range from $200-$600; however, they can definitely be found cheaper if you look hard enough on authorized retailer sites, ebay, or bonanzle.

Now getting to the point, I went to the Cabazon Outlets last weekend with my parents. We stopped by Saks Off 5th and they had a few Rebecca Minkoff bags for a discounted price with an additional 30%. I saw one that I liked and I could not resist so I splurged. However, I'm not going to reveal the bag in this post just yet :) I will reveal it in my next post. This shall motivate me to make a post! haha~

Hopefully, I can get back in the groove of things soon. These days I've been just trying to enjoy the last bits of my summer vacation. Until next time!
