Restocking Skincare & Bag Reveal

There is less than 2 weeks before I move back to San Diego for school. I am a little nervous but also looking forward to just get back into the school routine. I know I will for sure miss my precious sleep, however. I hope I do better this year in college with grades and with controlling my procrastination. I shall keep my fingers crossed.

Anyways, I've been running out of some things in my skincare regime so I had to restock before I don't have easy access to all my beauty products.

Only a few more uses in my Mandom makeup remover :(

I stopped by the tiny Mitsuwa near my house on Monday and picked up my necessities plus some Japanese candy :) I bought the refill bottle for the Shiseido Hadasui spray because it was $1 cheaper and it came with almost twice the amount. The packaging for Mandom also changed a little bit. The bottle looks smaller but the diameter of the bottle is a little wider so it still comes with 300mL of product.

Now all I have left to buy is a new tube of Laniege cleanser and order my Beautymaker Eye Serum.

And finally, my reveal for my Rebecca Minkoff bag that I talked about in my last post.

Smooshy leather goodness! It's the Morning After Mini Bag in Platinum. It's the medium size in the Morning After series. The size is comparable to the LV Speedy 30. It's not too big and not too small. Perfect for the amount of stuff I carry. Next on my list is perhaps a Nikki Hobo Bag in the color Wine. It just looks so good on LC that I really want it!

Mitsuwa Torrance Trip

So two days ago I decided to head over to Torrance to check out the Mitsuwa market. The one near my house is very small so I never really find anything much. It's definitely 5-6x bigger than the one near my house.

There's a food court and a bookstore. I checked out the bookstore to see if there were any magazines I wanted to pick up, but I didn't really want to fork over $10 per magazine. I remember in my early high school years Japanese magazines use to be only $5-6. I miss those days :( Anyhow, the market was really nice. There was 4 rows of snacks&candys galore. The beauty section was decent, but I wish it was a little bigger.

I picked up a liquid eyeliner, which was on sale and some serum-less facial masks. I thought I would try using them with homemade masks that were more liquidy. I also got some Pineapple candy. I absolutely love pineapple flavored candy. I am not sure what it is but they are just oh so yummy. Finally, I picked up two drinks. The Gokuri Peach can was too cute. I pretty much bought it for the can. It has subtle heart designs in the black background. Finally, I got the Pokka Pineapple jelly drink. I got this because I have heard about the Fanta Shaka carbonated jelly drink from Japan that a lot of people claimed to be quite good. However, the drink can be only found in Japan so when I saw this I immediately grabbed it.

The "directions" are on the back. You have to shake it to sort of mix up the jelly so it's not one giant clump in the bottle. If you don't, only some juice will come out! The drink itself is quite strange. It took me a few sips to get use to. I definitely wish it was more carbonated though. I think it would of tasted better. I wonder if the Fanta version is better? I am not sure how I feel about it yet. I originally was going to take pictures of the drink, but it didn't really show up on camera. Perhaps I will do a video the next time I get one of the other flavors for my boyfriend to try.

Anyhow, I will be at Universal Studios Hollywood tomorrow with a few of my friends because one of them got some free tickets. So perhaps more pictures to come?

Tiny Mitsuwa Haul + China Glaze

I only have 2 more weeks left of my first year of college! One more week of instruction and one week of finals, and I get to stay at home for the summer. I am so excited to hang out with my friends again, and get to spend more quality time with my boyfriend. I hope I do good on my finals. I am crossing my fingers for decent grades this quarter.

I was back home for Memorial day weekend, and I didn't do much. I stopped by my local Mitsuwa to see if there were any new products I wanted to try. Sadly, there wasn't much of a selection as my Mitsuwa is pretty tiny. I only got 2 things, one beauty related and one is not.

I picked up the Morning Hair Fix Water from Mandom. It supposedly helps with fly aways and weird kinks in your hair after you wake up. I've only tried it 2 times, and it's an alright product. I also picked up a box of my favorite japanese candy Meltyblend in Strawberry. They are so yummy!

I've been recently in an Asian cosmetics & skincare phase. I made quite a big haul at iMomoko two days ago which should be arriving next week. I am very excited, and I'll be sure to make a post for that package.

In other news, I also received my Transdesign package on Monday. The China Glaze polishes I ordered are absolutely gorgeous. I've only gotten to try one color so far, but it is truly amazing.

This color is 'Strawberry Fields'. The gold shimmer really adds such a pretty sparkle to it.

Last but not least before I end this post, I've been contemplating for quite a long time now whether to start doing Youtube videos. I want to do them, but I am not quite sure what videos to make or what not. But anyhow, if any of you guys have an opinion on this please leave a comment. If I decide to do videos, I will start working on some as soon as finals are over.
